Meeting Minutes from AI Lab session on Saturday 22nd. June at Gurgaon

CellStrat AI Lab attendees engaged in incredible AI knowledge sessions delivered by 4 speakers covering whole gamut of simple to advanced Machine Learning & Deep Learning topics along wih some hands-on-activity. The sophistication of our AI Lab members’ presentations continues to rise week after week.

Last Saturday AI Lab started with my session on Career Path and Opportunities in Machine Learning world. All liked the session with few examples that were given were proven correct right among the attendees which made everybody geared up to learn aggressivey in this area.
Next session was delivered by Tanya Singhal on Basics of Neural Networks. Some newbies liked and understood the concept well with examples on House Price prediction and Face Recognition.

Next came the session on Introduction to GANs with Tensorflow by Avni Gupta. She is currently working on projects in GAN. Her simplistic presentation was well taken and understood by even the newbies and highly appreciated. She spoke about various kinds of GANs, architecture of GAN, why are they popular, mathematics behind GANs and some challenges besides applications of GAN etc.

Then came a superb presentation by Pratima Mehta who works on vision computing problems these days. She presented first part of the two part series of a hands-on session on Python in Data Science for all newbies. Spoke about basics of Python, Numpy, Pandas and made attendees do some hands-on activity on the same.

Then came deep dive session on Natural Language Processing (NLP) by Vinay Kumar, our veteran speaker and researcher of Deep Learning. He spoke about NLP with subwords, how machine translates words from one language to othr etc. and will continue his session in coming lab sessions.
Overall it was an engrossing day filled with machine learning and deep learning discussions by all.
